Abstract

This paper tries to analyze the functioning of the Chilean political system in relation to the institutional role that the 1980 Constitution, and the legislation arising from it, assigned to the political parties, and at the same time, carry out a review of the different ways in which the political participation of citizens within it has been expressed.
