We propose to identify from a quantitative, exploratory, descriptive study; reasons attributed by students for keeping cameras turned off during remote emergency class. The results show that pedagogical interactions favor student passivity, with little dialogue between teacher and students and between students, and therefore the cameras tend to be off. The reasons "Zoom Fatigue", "classes in slippers", structural problems of connectivity, physical and mental health.
