Ultrasound guided core biopsy and digital stereotactic biopsy, are minimally invasive procedures in breast diagnoses, and are
an excellent alternative to surgery to obtain the histology of suspicious breast lesions. The indications and limitations of these
procedures are reviewed in this article.
