Abstract

In this work we perform a theoretical approach to the plebiscite as a means of citizen participation in the framework of the universal conception of the principles of national sovereignty and popular, then enter the regulations regarding the plebiscite in Chile both constitutional and municipal levels. We also refer to the draft constitutional and legislative reform currently under consideration relevant to the plebiscite in our legal system.
