Abstract

This work contains an interesting review of the legal-institutional evolution of the National Congress, since its installation in 1811 and its subsequent consecration in the Constitutions of 1818, 1833, 1925 and 1980. Finally, it includes the main modifications introduced by the constitutional reform of 2005.
