Recently and in accordance with the series of constitutional reforms that were adopted in 2005, the Organic Law of the Constitutional Court has been changed to agree with the modifications referred to its generation, composition and operation. The constitutional reform, Law No. 20,050, concentrates the control of constitutionality of the laws in the Constitutional Court and creates a new design of the preventive control of constitutionality that corresponds to exercise this court.
