The establishment of the Ombudsman in Chile as the "great supervisor" of the rights protection system

Abstract

For several decades, the institution of the Ombudsman or, using the most widely used denomination in the Spanish-speaking world, the "Ombudsman" has been studied to "implant" in Chile, an expression that apparently expresses a broader idea than that of the parliamentary oversight distinguishing the Scandinavian original.
