Abstract

The work highlights the constant confrontation between the right to freedom of expression and the right to religious freedom, in the terms set forth in the American Convention on Human Rights and in the European Convention on Human Rights, particularly through cinematographic censorship, for the sake of which are analyzed and refer to various jurisprudential pronouncements of these international organizations, in which, despite being similar circumstances, these fundamental guarantees acquire different scopes and nuances.
